Golden Eagle Intertribal Society (GEIS) G.E.I.S. is an organization at the University of Southern Mississippi dedicated to the education, promotion, and support of First Nation students.

We are a group of Southern Miss students devoted to maintaining the culture of Native American groups. Whether your heritage, studies, or friends have given rise to an interest in Native American culture, we welcome you to join us. Contact any member or Dr. Tammy Greer for more information. The Golden Eagles in our tribal Society, went out to the medicinal garden on this cold day to sell pumpkin cookies and banana loaves and some kind of other sugary thing. But also they sold corn dogs that we made the other night. They are raising money to support dancers at the powwow. Make sure you come to the powwow. November 16 from 10 to 6.
