Southern Miss College Panhellenic Council

CPC, the College Panhellenic Council, is home to eight chapters of the National Panhellenic Conference at the University of Southern Mississippi.

We EMBRACE, EQUIP, and EMPOWER our Fraternity and Sorority Life community and our fellow Golden Eagles. Our chapters include: Alpha Chi Omega (Kappa Sigma), Alpha Delta Pi (Eta Zeta), Chi Omega (Epsilon Delta), Delta Delta Delta (Phi Epsilon), Delta Gamma (Delta Pi), Kappa Delta (Beta Sigma), Phi Mu (Alpha Omicron), and Pi Beta Phi (MS Alpha). “Hey!! My name is Mason McLellan, and I currently serve as the Vice President of Panhellenic Affairs for the College Panhellenic Council. In this role, I serve as the secretary, take minutes at our meetings, and oversee our governing documents. With this, I oversee all documents, serve on the Bylaw Review Committee, and serve as head of the Peer Accountability Board. Although it may seem like a lot, this role has truly helped me grow into the person I am today!! I am so thankful to serve in this role!!”

“I am a sophomore Recreational Therapy major who is also double-minoring in Psychology & Disability Studies, and I am from West, MS. Around campus, I am involved in Luckyday and the Center for Community Engagement, and in the past have been a part of the Junior Panhellenic Council & Lambda Sigma. USM has one of the very best places to get involved, and I have especially enjoyed my time volunteering at different places on campus, such as the Institution for Disability Studies & the DuBard School. Along with all of this, I am also a Registered Behavior Technician, and I love my job working and serving in an ABA therapy clinic here in Hattiesburg!”

Hi! My name is Ryleigh Johnson, and I currently serve as the Vice President of Service and Philanthropy for the Panhellenic Council. In this role, I work to support our chapters in their philanthropic efforts and strengthen our community’s commitment to service. I help coordinate council-wide service initiatives, promote involvement in both local and national philanthropies, and collaborate with others to create meaningful opportunities for members to give back. One of the most rewarding parts of my position is seeing our community come together to make a tangible impact and support causes that matter.

A bit about me: I am a junior Public Relations major from Star, MS. Around campus, I am involved in organizations such as Luckyday, Black Eyed Susans, the Student Alumni Association, the Women’s Empowerment Association, and I’m especially passionate about service and advocacy. In my free time, I enjoy reading, planning events, spending time with friends and family, shopping, and hanging out with my goldendoodle, Hastings.

“I am a sophomore nursing major! My dream is to specialize in pediatrics. I LOVE serving on CPC. I am a LuckyDay Scholar, a member of Lambda Sigma, and a member of Greek Seekers. I also serve as Chaplain of my chapter! My favorite thing to do is to hang out with my friends and family. I have a poodle named Moose and a bunny named Poppy! My favorite colors are light pink and baby blue. :)”
