This week, our MOT and OTA bridge students put sensory processing concepts into practice through a hands-on sensory lab. From tactile exploration and proprioceptive input to regulation strategies, students explored how sensory processing can influence a child’s participation in everyday activities.

Our Master of Occupational Therapy students are putting their assessment skills into practice! Students used open-ended questions and observation to learn about a client’s occupations, roles, routines, habits, and environment. It is an important part of developing meaningful, client-centered goals and interventions.

Today, they began working through the lifespan with infants and toddlers, practicing guided conversations and assessing age-appropriate milestones.❤️
