Lane placed seventh overall in a field of 241 runners in the Blue Race at Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford, Conn., covering the eight-kilometer course in 24:16.5. His top-10 finish paced the Scarlet and Black to sixth in a loaded field, with three Fords finishing among the top 25.

The junior opened the week with 17 digs in Wednesday's 3-1 road victory over Ursinus, reaching the 1,000-career-dig milestone. She followed with a match-high 21 digs in Saturday's sweep of Gettysburg, helping the Scarlet and Black secure their first sweep of the Bullets since 2016 and first victory over Gettysburg since 2021.

Sharp continues to set the pace offensively in the conference, leading the Centennial in goals (11), points (26) and shots (54). He also ranks third in shots on goal (20) and is tied for third in assists (four). Nationally, Sharp ranks 12th in total goals, 15th in total points and 27th in goals per game.

Sophomore Elizabeth Cella capped a remarkable week with another standout offensive performance Saturday afternoon, delivering 21 kills as the Haverford College volleyball team (13-3, 4-1 CC) swept visiting Gettysburg (12-7, 1-3 CC), 3-0 (25-19, 25-22, 25-21), in Centennial Conference action at Gooding '84 Arena.

Cella finished the afternoon hitting .348 with 21 kills on 46 attempts, adding seven digs and two service aces as the Fords extended their winning streak to four matches. The performance capped a staggering 51-kill week for the Haverford attacker, who followed Wednesday's record-setting 30-kill outing at Ursinus with another 20-plus-kill performance, continuing to establish herself as one of the most prolific attackers in Division III volleyball.

The victory also marked a significant milestone for the Scarlet and Black against a familiar conference opponent. Haverford swept Gettysburg for the first time since Oct. 1, 2016, ending a 10-year drought between straight-set victories over the Bullets. The result was also the Fords' first victory over Gettysburg since 2021.

Erica Pardón was credited with her second hat trick in eight days Saturday afternoon as the Haverford College field hockey team (9-6, 5-2 CC) rolled past host Dickinson (6-7, 3-3 CC), 4-1, in a crucial Centennial Conference matchup at the Biddle Field Complex.

Pardón brought her season total to 13 goals, the most by a Haverford player since Ravenel Davis '22 finished the 2021 campaign with 17. Lily Gover added a goal as the Scarlet and Black secured their third consecutive conference victory and fourth win in five contests, avenging last season's home loss to the Red Devils.

With a scoreless draw appearing increasingly likely, Charles Sharp delivered a dramatic late winner for the Haverford College men's soccer team (11-3-1, 3-3 CC), finding the back of the net in the 87th minute to lift the Fords past host McDaniel (7-5-1, 1-5 CC), 1-0, Saturday afternoon at the Soccer Complex.

Sharp's team-leading 11th goal of the season, set up by a long throw-in from Carter Kroenke, came with just 3:24 remaining in regulation, securing three crucial points for the Scarlet and Black in the Centennial Conference standings.

Centennial Conference play continued for Haverford women's soccer at McDaniel on Saturday.

The Fords fell to McDaniel, 5-0, on the road Saturday afternoon despite seven saves from Braidyn Recker.

Haverford returns home Wednesday to host Washington College at 4 p.m. at Walton Field.
