will be held on the campus of Haverford College on Sunday April 9, 2017 at 12:30 PM. He was a dedicated member of the college's cross country and track teams for the four years he attended Haverford, excelling in both sports. In 1995, Joe contracted Amyotrophic Lateral

Sclerosis (ALS) at the age of 34. He first noticed symptoms when he was out training for road races. He courageously battled the debilitating disease for thirteen years until his death on March 2, 2008. Join us this year! The race is open to all, and proceeds from the event will be donated to the ALS Association, the only national non-profit organization dedicated solely to the fight against ALS.
