What happens when you invest in early childhood educators?
You create leaders.
These four women each entered the field of early childhood education with their own unique stories, experiences, and passion for making a difference. Through the support of Massachusetts funding—including the MA Dept of Early Education and Care’s EEC Scholarship and Career Pathways in Early Childhood Education Grant, they achieved a major milestone: earning their Master’s degrees in Early Childhood Education.
Today, they are giving back to the very systems that supported them.
They now serve as professors and support specialists—guiding, mentoring, and inspiring the next generation of educators. Their knowledge is not just academic—it is lived.
They understand what it means to:
Work full time while pursuing higher education
Balance the demands of family, career, and school
Overcome barriers, including navigating college when English is not their first language.
They know firsthand that access, support, and funding are not just helpful—they are essential in turning dreams into reality.
Now, they stand as educational leaders—creating pathways for others to follow.
So we ask you:
What are your goals? What is possible for you?
Do not let doubt define your future. Your path is within reach.
We are here to support you every step of the way.
We are at NECC!
