Happy World Teachers' Day! The College of Education, Teacher Education, and Advanced Education Programs departments represented teachers and FHSU at the 2026 FHSU Homecoming Parade this past Saturday. If you missed it, check out these pictures of a literacy professor and our future Tiger Teachers passing out children's literacy books and the FHSU Tiger Tots with their parents. 💛🖤💛

If you haven't seen the Hays Post article, "Heart of a Tiger: A custodian's new beginning" yet about one of our former and favorite coworkers, Susan Relaford, check it out at the below link. It is a great article on the power of education and positivity, new beginnings, and building relationships. Go Tigers and Go Susan! Once an FHSU Tiger, always a Tiger!
