The Center for Comparative Studies in Race & Ethnicity at Stanford University is currently seeking a Core Curriculum Coordinator (CCC) to assist the CCSRE Academic Programs team in coordinating the development, implementation, and assessment of the CCSRE Core Course sequence.

The CCC will promote effective teaching and learning at all levels by:
helping instructors to develop and streamline course content and materials;
recruiting, mentoring, and coordinating Course Associates and TAs;
leading and consolidating assessments across all courses; and
managing the ongoing process of coordinating the development, rollout, staffing, and iterative redesign of the CCSRE Core Curriculum in collaboration with Stanford’s Center for Teaching and Learning.

Ideal candidates will have program management experience and training in race and ethnic studies. A Master’s degree and two years of relevant experience, or combination of education, training, and relevant experience, are required.

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY

This is Patrick Curzon reaching out to you on behalf of APAPA, regarding our Bay Area Elected Official Placement Internship. Our program provides professional skills and experiences such as project management to help advance our future generation of leaders in government, industry, and community affairs.

We're currently recruiting CSU East Bay undergraduates interested in leadership development, civic engagement, and public relations. Our Summer 2023 Elected Official Internship, matches accepted interns with elected official offices in the Bay Area (Fremont, San Mateo, San Francisco), while providing weekly professional development workshops. In 2022, APAPA placed Interns in 100+ Elected Official Offices across the nation.

Bay Area Elected Office Internship Program

The APAPA Internship Program is focused on leadership and professional development, designed for students interested in skills and experiences (such as project management) to help advance their leadership skills in government, industry, and community affairs. This nine-week program hosted by APAPA, takes place during the Summer, matching accepted interns directly with elected officials.



PROGRAM EXPECTATIONS

Interns will be expected to:

- Work 10-12 hours per week with Host Elected Official Office

- Participate in professional development workshops & training seminars

- Must be in person in the Fremont, San Mateo, or San Francisco areas
