Yesterday, I had the privilege and honor of capturing something truly rare and extraordinary.

I was invited to photograph a beautiful couple as they renewed their vows and celebrated an incredible milestone—70 years of marriage. Yes, you read that correctly: 70 years together.

Their story is a reminder of what love, commitment, and dedication look like over a lifetime. Having lived in my hometown of Union City since before it was even known as Union City—back when the area was simply the Decoto neighborhood and district—they have witnessed generations of change while building a legacy of their own.

Congratulations to Jesse and Sally on this remarkable achievement, and congratulations to the entire Rivera family on celebrating such a special occasion.

Thank you for trusting me to capture these memories and preserve a moment that will be treasured for generations to come. It was an honor to be a small part of such an unforgettable day.

Got a call from a client whose photographer
canceled last minute on the day of her daughter's quinceañera photoshoot while she was already getting hair and makeup done. I was at work when she called, but I couldn't let their special day fall apart. I left work early, grabbed my gear, and made it happen. Moments like this remind me why | love photography - being able to create memories for families during some of the most important moments of their lives. Grateful for the opportunity and happy I could capture these memories for them.
