Join us for a thought‑provoking faculty research presentation by Michael Polgar, Ph.D., professor of sociology, Holocaust educator, and descendant of Holocaust survivors.
🕯️ In observance of Yom HaShoah, this presentation, "Words cannot express…the Holocaust distorts language,” examines how expression and communication were distorted, diminished, and destroyed by N**i violence. Drawing from Holocaust memoirs, Dr. Polgar explores how concentration camp prisoners endured degrading directives and constant threats, while the broader public was subjected to propaganda and disinformation.
