Classes start next week, and we are so excited to have students back on campus! As we get ready to welcome everyone back for a great fall semester, we wanted to share some photos from the past few years.

Summer is flying by... and honestly, we're not quite ready to let it go either! But if there's one thing that makes the end of summer exciting, it's welcoming a new group of students to Helena College!

If you're joining us for Dual Enrollment Orientation in a couple of weeks, you'll learn what it means to be a college student, what resources are available to help you succeed, and what to expect this semester. Parents are encouraged to attend too, so everyone starts the year feeling informed and confident.

New Program Alert! Helena College is proud to offer Montana's only Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program, where students can train for a rewarding career helping people regain the skills they need for everyday life.

As Montana's healthcare industry continue to grow, so does the need for compassionate, trained professionals. If you are looking for a career that combines hands-on patient care with the opportunity to make a lasting impact in your community, this might be the program for you!

Start your journey to becoming an OTA this fall by completing your pre-requisite courses before applying to join Helena College's first ever OTA cohort for the Spring of 2027.

Montana manufacturing is on the move!

As new manufacturing facilities break ground across the state, demand for skilled machinists will continue to grow. So, if you've been thinking about a career in advanced manufacturing, now is the time.

Helena College's CNC Machining program gives you the hands-on skills to launch a career in one of Montana's growing industries.

Congratulations to Janicki on breaking ground, and welcome to Montana! We're excited to see continued investment in our state's manufacturing future.

Officials broke ground Friday on a Washington-based company's $800 million manufacturing plant in Great Falls that is expected to add 2,000 jobs over the next decade.

Our Cosmetology students had the opportunity to partner with the Helena Indian Alliance for the Steeped in Fashion show this past weekend, providing professional hair and makeup services for young designers and models participating in a three-day fashion boot camp.

This was a fantastic opportunity for our students to put their skills into practice while experiencing the exciting world of fashion and event styling!

Partnerships like this are an important part of the Helena College experience, giving students meaningful learning opportunities while strengthening connections within our community. It was also a wonderful opportunity to introduce middle and high school students to careers in cosmetology and the possibilities available through career and technical education.

A special thank you to the Helena Indian Alliance, Helena College Alumna Rachel Twoteeth-Pichard, Cosmetology Program Director Dawn Anderson, and cosmetology student Emily Taapken for helping make this collaboration such a success. We're proud of everyone who made this event possible!

The Library's summer hours are 8 AM - 5 PM Monday through Friday, closed on weekends and holidays.
