The Kappa Phi Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.'s purpose is to contribute greatly to the demographics and culture of the Hofstra University community while maintaining an active presence in minority affairs, volunteering and assisting neighboring residents. The legacy of service began when 12 young women charted a course toward developing the support of sisterhood that Alpha Kappa Alpha would bring. Kappa Phi Chapter was charted under the auspices of Theta Iota Omega Chapter.

Special thanks to all who came out on Thursday to support our Kreative Kups by Kappa Phi event. As breast cancer awareness month comes to a close we want to continue to support all of those who have been affected by this disease as well as encourage everyone to continue to follow the necessary steps of early detection!
