What a wonderful time in Charlotte, NC!
Our faculty, alumni, and student presenters proudly represented Hofstra at the 2026 AATA Conference. Nearly 20 of us gathered for a lovely alumni and student dinner at Mama Ricotta’s, and the CATCH fundraiser was a huge success! Dutch also made his AATA conference debut and took it all in like a champ! 🐾

Thank you to everyone who presented, stopped by our booth, and supported CATCH. We loved catching up with familiar faces and making new connections. You made this conference extra special!

If we missed you this year, we hope to see you next year in Louisville, Kentucky! 💙💛

We need your help. Please sign for a fair contract for Hofstra faculty

Hofstra faculty are currently negotiating a new Collective Bargaining Agreement. Back in 2020, they gave up guaranteed raises to help the University through COVID — raises that were never restored, even as Hofstra's finances rebounded.

To keep giving students the world-class education Hofstra is known for, faculty deserve a fair contract. Your signature, as a student, alum, parent, or community member, shows real solidarity at this critical moment.

Today, our CATC students took an important step in their professional journey by presenting their thesis defense to their Advisor, program faculty, and fellow peers. Through thoughtful research, creativity, and clinical insight, students took turns sharing the culmination of their graduate work and demonstrated their commitment to creative arts therapy counseling. Well done!!
