Deane School of Law at Hofstra University prepares passionate students to have an impact in the legal community and beyond. Located on the 240-acre campus of Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York, Hofstra Law is 20 miles outside New York City in suburban Long Island. Few, if any, law schools can match the combination of our green campus and easy access to New York City, the hub of the nation's legal profession.

Connections today, career possibilities tomorrow. ⚖️ 🌠 🏙️

Hofstra Law’s first-year students connected with law firm representatives yesterday at our Big Firm Fair in Manhattan, learning about firm culture, opportunities for summer associates and junior attorneys, and pathways to 2028 summer associate programs.

First-year Hofstra Law students Alexis Bell and Payton Trabb, won this year's Dispute Resolution Society intramural competition! Bell also earned the Best Oral Advocate award. With 152 students participating, the competition concluded with four finalists showcasing their dispute resolution skills before a distinguished panel of legal professionals.

Hofstra Law is preparing students to help shape the future ⚖️📲 We’re proud to announce the new Institute for Legal Technology & Innovation, endowed with $2 million in philanthropic support, including a $1 million gift from Samuel Ramos '91.

The Institute will bring students, faculty, and the legal community together to explore artificial intelligence, digital assets, and new ways to expand access to justice. Through research and hands-on learning, students will build the legal knowledge and technological fluency to navigate a changing profession.
