✨ Vision To Reality Recipient Spotlight ✨

The Elite Ladies of the Gamma Omicron Chapter of Sigma Beta Xi Sorority Inc proudly recognizes Lazenda Watkins as the first recipient of our Vision To Reality (V2R) initiative.

Vision To Reality was created to empower youth by helping them turn their passions into purposeful futures through creativity, leadership, entrepreneurship, innovation, and digital opportunities.

Fashion has always been a passion for Lazenda and a major part of the vision she has for her future. Her dedication, creativity, and ambition reflect the mission and purpose behind V2R.

After receiving acceptance offers from multiple colleges and universities, Lazenda chose to attend LIM College, The Business of Fashion & Lifestyle, in New York City, where she will pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration degree beginning Fall 2026.

Today we celebrate Lazenda’s accomplishments, her vision, and the exciting future ahead of her.

Draped in Cords was created to celebrate and uplift students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, dedication, and commitment to their future. The purpose of this program is to encourage and recognize young individuals who continue to push forward and excel in their educational journey.

Sydney earned Honor Roll recognition throughout her entire 6th grade year, reflecting her hard work, consistency, determination, and focus inside the classroom. Her achievement represents the very foundation of what Draped in Cords stands for.

Sydney is setting the tone for excellence and inspiring other students to continue striving for greatness.
