Did you know after skills check off is completed, our SOS team separates out reusables from kits to clean and repack? Repurposed kits are then used for Student Skills Totes for practice & simulation supplies.
Here at the NSU Sim Center, we do what we can to limit medical waste and get full use out of our supplies.

New week, new experience!
“Today students applied caring sciences to real world application of technology as they built tele-health assessment techniques and identified challenges and opportunities of technology on the healthcare landscape.” - Prof. H. Montgomery

👩🏿‍💻👩🏽‍💻👨🏼‍💻Lab Experience: Students played both patient AND provider roles while on video calls. As providers, students assessed & addressed patient(s) concerns within their scope of practice. As patients, students drew roles of different patient profiles to portray. Lab is concluded with a debrief about their experiences.
