Over the course of two days, our Nursing Scholars, incoming freshmen who have declared nursing as their major, had the opportunity to connect with nursing faculty, current nursing students, peer mentors, campus resources, and one another.
They learned more about what to expect as pre-nursing students, explored strategies for college and nursing school success, heard firsthand experiences from faculty and students, and got a glimpse of what lies ahead in their nursing journey.
We are excited to support this group as they begin their first semester and work toward their goal of becoming nurses. Welcome to Nevada State and the School of Nursing!
