🎉 Charter Lounge Updates! 🎉

Thanks for being patient with us! We’re working on getting consistent Charter Lounge hours as our returning students get settled in and we interview, hire, and onboard our new employees.

In the meantime, here are our current hours! ⏰

While visiting the lounge, please look for someone wearing a Charter Lounge shirt who can help you out!

🎮 Using the Lounge?
Please leave your student ID with the Charter Lounge employee whenever you borrow something. You’ll get your ID back when you return the item!

And we have some fun things happening this semester:

🎨 Every other Monday: Make It Take It Monday
🎶 Every other Tuesday: Our NEW Acoustic Session Series

📺 85-inch TV with an easier hookup for laptops, gaming systems, and more

We’re excited about all the updates and can’t wait for you to enjoy the space!

ConNECtions Fair Recap!

We had an amazing time at the ConNECtions Fair on Wednesday! The turnout was awesome, and it was so great to see our campus community coming together, connecting with one another, and learning about all the opportunities available at NEC.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who joined us, hosted a table, shared information, and helped make the day such a success!

MAKE IT TAKE IT MONDAY = SUCCESS!

Our first Make It Take It of the semester was a BIG success! Students got creative with plaster, paint, and shells to create their own coastal masterpieces.

Want in on the next one? GET HERE EARLY!
We only have 25 spots available per Make It Take It, and they fill up fast! First come, first served, so don’t roll in late and expect a spot.

It’s raining. Ugh. 🌧️ Definitely not ideal for our Welcome Back Carnival, and I was really hoping that forecast would change!

But we’re not letting a little rain ruin the fun! I’m working with Chartwells, Facilities, Events and our vendors to make the most of today. Some activities will still be outside on the lawn,, including the climbing wall and axe throwing, while the smaller activities will move inside Simon.

Who knows…maybe Mother Nature will surprise us and turn things around! 🤞🏼
