Happy Student Nurses Day!

May 8th is when we take a moment to appreciate our student nurses. It's hard work and long hours, but everyone who goes home healthy appreciates all the work you've been putting in!

See if you can guess who's who from when our faculty/staff wore the student scrubs!

Nurses get stressed out??

Nursing can get stressful, and it's important to be able to stay calm in healthcare settings. Luckily, there are plenty of things to do that can help in dealing with these stressors.

Before your shift try some light stretching, journaling, or jamming to your favorite tunes on the drive in.

During your shift, remember to take a breather when you have an opportunity, stay hydrated and bring some snacks to remain energized, and lean on your coworkers who are there for you!

After your shift, set time aside to relax and kick your feet up, later, go for a run/walk/hike to boost sleep and recovery.

We are so incredibly proud of the hours, thought, and focus that went into each of these projects!

Participants were judged by a panel with members from NKU, St. Elizabeth, TriHealth, and The Christ Hospital. Congratulations to Abigail Nelson, Samantha Iannarino, and Taylor Fry for being chosen as the winning presentation. All participants will be recognized this upcoming fall at their pinning ceremonies.
