Recognizing outstanding achievement at the Mid-South Regional National Association of Teachers of Singing Student Auditions, one of the premier vocal competitions in the region, bringing together top collegiate and pre-collegiate singers for adjudicated performance and national-level recognition.

Representing the studio of Joy Burdette, Lainey Miller and Nora MacFarlane delivered exceptional performances, with Nora advancing through semifinals and earning 2nd place in the Adult Classical Non-Traditional (CL13) category.

Students also participated in a vocal master class with internationally recognized pedagogue Kari Ragan, gaining valuable insight into vocal performance at the highest level.

We’re proud of their dedication and grateful for the support that makes experiences like this possible.

NKU Opera’s production of Mavra brought humor, energy, and thoughtful storytelling to the stage at NKU Greaves Concert Hall. This one-act comedy by Igor Stravinsky showcased the talent and versatility of our student performers, blending lighthearted moments with expressive musicality in a concise and engaging performance.

Thank you to our cast, crew, and audience for making this production a success. Special thanks to our student photographer, Ashton Willis, for beautifully capturing the evening.
