The Magg delivered! She carried six gallons of Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream Co. ice cream to 7338’ on the CTI P-8000. It was recovered in great condition, and the ice cream was enjoyed by dozens of rocketeers in the hot mid-day Kansas sun.

Erosive Burning simulation achieved! Note the differences in the 2 screenshots below. One is a standard simulation, with the grain burn profile partially in the burn, the second is the exact same motor but with erosive burning effects simulated, visible by the varied grain consumption closer to the nozzle and the spike in the initial part of the burn data graph.

More changes landing this week, if you dont want to miss out when FB doesnt show you new posts, get the announcements directly to your email, see below. New changes about to land include an axial cross section view of simulated motors, custom grains with a built in editor or accepting image, dxf and svg imports. Fun stuff, and leading to the 'holy grail' of being able to simulate Erosive Burning effects and even visualize them in the axial cross section.

Our third launch of the season was a great relief from the smoky, overcast skies that we had been dealing with for two weeks. Blue skies, high clouds and mild winds made for a great launch.
