Have you ever taken a quiz that if you did not finish in time the room would explode with TNT?

Neither had we until today!

Today our faculty received training on our new immersion room. Not only can we upload 360 footage and create immersive scenarios, we can also play thought provoking games, go through EMS Escape Rooms and so much more. The immersion room is equipped with fans, scents, sights and sounds to help engage our learners.

Kudos to the Spring 2026 EMT cohort. The three groups demonstrated exceptional camaraderie, created lasting memories, and exhibited strong teamwork. Notably, five students received conditional job offers prior to completing their coursework. This cohort has set a high standard for future students.

EMS Spotlight is a continuing education class where we focus on hands on application and expert guest lecturers. On Tuesday, we were honored to host UNC Cardiology for our EMS Spotlight. A team of 5 UNC physicians came and spoke about cardiac care in the prehospital setting.

This is a significant achievement as the course is delivered universally world-wide and our program achievements & quality outcomes have set the stage for our approval as a designated training center.
