NMJC Workforce Development The Workforce Development Division of NMJC is a resource specializing in short term workforce training programs. We can
also design a training to come to you.

The Workforce Development division of New Mexico Junior College (NMJC) is a resource specializing
in continuing education, facility rental, automation & industrial systems, oil & gas training, community
education, transportation training, customized and workforce training. We also house the Small
Business Development Center. In our 15,000 square foot Workforce Development Facility, we host a wide variety of trainings and events. In addition, our 25,000 sq foot Industrial Training Center across the parking lot houses our automation, oil & gas, and welding program. We know the importance of job training to obtain quality employment. With the best of intentions,
please note that courses may be subject to change, postponement, modification, or cancelation. Whatever your training needs are, the Workforce Development division of NMJC welcomes the

NMJC is proud to host Skillpoint Alliance’s FREE Electrical Training Program in Hobbs! If you are 18 or older, this is an opportunity to gain hands-on training, valuable safety certifications, and employment readiness support as you prepare for a career in the electrical trade.

The upcoming class runs November 9–December 11 . Eligible participants who successfully complete the program may also receive a $1,000 completion stipend.
