Founded in 1982 by Jack Ridl, Professor of English at Hope College, the Visiting Writers Series enjoys the sponsorship of the College, the Department of English, Multicultural Life, the Cultural Affairs Committee, and the Women's Issues Organization, among others. The Jack Ridl Visiting Writers Series at Hope College has hosted some of the most exciting writers working today, and is proud of its n
