We have not only been busy with our "Mother of Civil Rights and Social Justice - Ida B. Wells-Barnett" activities, we have just completed our 5th year of Rust College Health Explorers Program, thanks to the generous funding of United Way of the Mid-South. As evident from some of the enclosed photos, we have had a very busy, but productive year again, thanks to a great team of professionals composed of faculty, staff, student mentors, and administrators.

Attention Rustites and BFF:

In celebration of Black History Month, please know the following: Rust College, founded in 1866, is still in the business of educating young and talented minds who will take their rightful place as our leaders of today and tomorrow. It will be the same rich legacy as young Ida B. Wells, Lucie Campbell, Nathalie Doxey, Earnest A. Smith, Leslie Burl McLemore, William Scott, Leroy Frazier, and many, many more.

With your help, the Rust College Legacy will live forever when you send us your best and brightest young minds yearning to be forever free and well educated in an ever-changing and global world. As you have done in taking your rightful place in America and society of the world, these young people will do no less and live out the motto of our beloved Rust College, "By Their Fruits Ye Shall Know Them" with success and God's good fortunes.

Folks, I cannot believe that I have been at Rust College again for (4) years. Where did the time go? However, in my assessment of being at Rust College, I am struck by two important facts: Our Legacy and Today's Rust College. So, let me show you what I mean through a collection of photos I have put together. Enjoy!
