Join us for an engaging walk through the forces that shape Florida’s coastlines—from the mechanics of tides to the seasonality of our coastal weather patterns. After explaining the science of it all, we will show you how to access and read online tide, weather, and wave forecasts, and give practical tips for weaving that data into your own outings. Whether you’re a solo explorer or an eco-tourism guide, you’ll leave with the tools to plan safer, more memorable trips along Florida’s dynamic shoreline.

Wednesday, August 19 at 7pm online - free and open to all but pre-registration is required.
