A legacy built in Hawai‘i. 🏀🌺

Former Hawai‘i Pacific men’s basketball head coach Tony Sellitto has been named a member of the 2026 Hawai‘i Sports Hall of Fame class.

Sellitto, who led the Sharks to the 1993 NAIA National Championship, remains the only basketball coach in Hawai‘i history to win both a high school state championship and a collegiate national championship.

Congratulations, Coach Sellitto, on an incredible and well-deserved honor!

A huge mahalo to all of the amazing HPU staff who took time out of their busy schedules before the start of the school year to meet with our coaches and help prepare us for the season ahead.
