UHM CSS Academy for Hawai'i Intelligence Studies AHI is a college initiative within the UHM College of Social Science. AHI manages a summer program called AHI Summer Program (AHI-SP).

The Academy of Hawai’i Intelligence Initiative (AHI) is funded by a federal grant to support job development in the state of Hawai’i. AHI is a project and college initiative within the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa (UHM), College of Social Science (CSS) - supported by the Political Science Department and ACCESS. This innovative opportunity delivers a 3-credit, university-level course (POLS 120: I

ntroduction to World Politics) and related programming to qualified Hawaiʻi high school students and incoming UH Mānoa freshmen. All expenses, including registration, tuition/fees, airfare, and on-campus housing/meals, are included (certain restrictions may apply). Credits earned may be applied to a higher-ed degree.
