Sometimes the first day is bigger than you realize. ❤️

Kacie is pictured here on her first day at her externship.

And in the next photo? Haley and Regina—two HMC graduates who once had a first day just like hers.

Haley and Regina completed their externships with Dr. Torres, were hired during their externships, and more than five years later, they’re still there.

That’s what we love about moments like these.

An externship isn’t just another part of school. It’s a chance to step into a real healthcare workplace, put what you’ve learned into practice, and show an employer what you can do.

We don’t know where Kacie’s first day will lead yet.

But Haley and Regina are a pretty great reminder of where a first day can lead. 💙
