Congratulations to this year's Mirikitani Outstanding Dissertation Awardee, Josefa Muñoz. Sefa followed green sea turtles from nesting and mating sites in the Mariana Archipelago to feeding grounds up to 2,500 kilometers away across the Pacific Ocean. Her dissertation provides some of the first detailed information about the little-studied population of green sea turtles that nest in the Mariana Archipelago. Read more about Sefa's research and why she was selected as the 2025-2026 awardee. https://go.hawaii.edu/RVp
