The UH Mānoa Department of Public Safety provides year-round protection and security for the UH Mānoa community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. DPS provides the following services:
- Incident Management: response & investigation
- Victim/survivor assistance
- Emergency alerts & timely warnings
- Emergency preparedness & management
- Educational outreach: events, programs, and presentations

- Facility lockup and unlock
- Active shooter response training
- Reporting according to federal laws (Jeanne Clery Act, VAWA, Campus SaVE, Title IX)
- Special event services
The Campus Safety Escort Service is available to any student, faculty, or staff member every evening from dusk until dawn. Call us at (808) 956-SAFE (7233) to request your safety escort. To request a Safety Presentation for your class, club, or group, send a short description of your event, along with the date and time requested, to [email protected].
