The UH Mānoa Department of Public Safety provides year-round protection and security for the UH Mānoa community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. DPS provides the following services:
- Incident Management: response & investigation
- Victim/survivor assistance
- Emergency alerts & timely warnings
- Emergency preparedness & management
- Educational outreach: events, programs, and presentations

- Facility lockup and unlock
- Active shooter response training
- Reporting according to federal laws (Jeanne Clery Act, VAWA, Campus SaVE, Title IX)

The Campus Safety Escort Service is available to any student, faculty, or staff member every evening from dusk until dawn. Call us at (808) 956-SAFE (7233) to request your safety escort.
