While the ability to handle unexpected situations is both a key indicator of Advanced proficiency and an essential life skill, students in advanced Chinese classes are more accustomed to discussing abstract societal issues than everyday problems. The LaunchPad educational technology competition will be held at the 2026 CALICO conference on July 10th at Miami University in Oxford, OH.
