⚡🛠️ Building Connections at DTC Horn Lake! 🛠️⚡

Our Electrical, HVAC/R & Welding Career Fair brought DTC students and graduates together with local employers to explore career opportunities and make valuable industry connections! 💙

Students had the opportunity to speak directly with employers, learn about current openings, ask questions, and discover potential next steps as they prepare to enter the workforce.

A big thank you to Hyosung Official Club, Burger King, City of Memphis, AAON, Upchurch, Waffle House, Kelly, Johnstone Supply, Advanced Electric, Jabil, Express Employment Professionals, and Elite Staffing for taking the time to connect with our students and graduates! 👏

Events like these are an important part of the DTC experience, helping our students build connections with employers while strengthening our relationships within the communities we serve.

Myra is our Admissions Representative, and she is being recognized for her incredible dedication, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to helping students succeed. Through her compassion, initiative, and servant leadership, Myra demonstrates DTC's P.R.I.D.E. Core Values each and every day. ✨

One of Myra's most impactful accomplishments has been cultivating a strategic partnership with Magcor, a Mississippi reentry rehabilitation program that fully funds tuition for eligible students. Thanks to her initiative, perseverance, and collaborative spirit, even more students now have the opportunity to pursue an education and build a brighter future. 🎒📚 Back-to-School Bash at Delta Technical College in Horn Lake, MS! 📚🎒

At Delta Technical College, we're proud to support our community both inside and outside the classroom! 💙

Our Horn Lake campus welcomed local K–12 students and their families for our Back-to-School Bash, where backpacks were filled with school supplies to help students start the new school year prepared and confident. ✏️🎒

This event was made possible through the generosity of our students, staff, and incredible community partners, including TheGame Table and the American Contract Bridge League - ACBL.

Thanks to their support, families left with backpacks full of essential supplies and smiles that made the day unforgettable. 😊📚

Events like these remind us that DTC PRIDE extends far beyond career training. We take pride in giving back, supporting our neighbors, and investing in the success of the communities we serve.

Our Phlebotomy Career Fair at Delta Technical College in Horn Lake brought together current students, graduates, and healthcare employers for a day of networking and career exploration. 👏

A special thank you to our Phlebotomy Program Director & Placement Coordinator, Twanda Pryor, for hosting this event, and to Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare and Parachute Plasma for taking the time to meet with our students and graduates.

Events like these give our students the opportunity to connect with employers, learn more about the healthcare field, and take the next step toward their future careers. 🩸✨
