The 2026 Annual Fall Career Fair will take place on Tuesday, September 29, at the Student Development Complex. To accommodate the large number of companies attending the fair, the following locations will close at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, September 28, and will remain closed all day on Tuesday, September 29:

-Varsity Gym
-Multipurpose Room
-Shooting Range
-Racquetball Courts (will re-open at 5:00 pm on Tuesday)

Are you attending the Michigan Tech Career Services Career Fair tomorrow? Did you know that a dedicated shuttle will run from the Memorial Union Building to the Student Development Complex and back from 12:00pm to 5:30pm? Did you also know that parking at the meters, visitor lots, and ParkMobile zones will be complimentary after 12:00pm?

NEW THIS YEAR: As parking around the SDC is expected to be very congested and we want to encourage as many students as possible to park on campus and use the shuttle, we have teamed up with Career Services to offer a special bonus to utilizing the shuttle. By using the shuttle, you will be able to pre-register for the Career Fair at the MUB Shuttle Stop and you will be dropped off at the main entrance of the SDC allowing you to bypass the registration line.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR COMMUTER PERMIT HOLDERS:

Hello Huskies,

This message is to announce an update regarding Standard Commuter parking for the 2026/2027 Academic Year.

Why We're Making This Change:
Commuter lots across campus have been filling up early and consistently, so we want to remind students that Lot 24 is open to all commuter permit holders. We've heard your feedback about the distance between Lot 24 and the campus core, and we've taken it seriously. To make parking in Lot 24 more convenient, Transportation Services is adjusting shuttle routes to give commuters faster access to the center of campus.

What's Changing:
Starting Monday September 28, we will be adding two Rapid Commuter rounds per hour to and from Lot 24. This will make commuter parking in Lot 24 efficient and convenient, providing direct access to the campus core.

How the New Schedule Works:
When classes are in session, the day begins with a condensed route starting in Lot 24.
From there, each hour runs as follows:
-Top of the hour: A 20-minute residential route
-Then: Two 10-minute Rapid Commuter trips from Lot 24 to the Library and the Memorial Union Building (MUB)

There is a driver break from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM. The condensed route runs again from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM, then the regular hourly pattern resumes at 3:00 PM.

FLEXLOT CHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT: On Monday 9/21/2026 Lot 10W will be flexed to Event Parking for HuskyDays at the Rozsa Center. We encourage GREEN commuter permit holders who normally park in Lot 10W to utilize one of the other commuter lots (10E, 17L, 29, and 32) or Lot 24 near the SDC. There is a shuttle that runs from the SDC to campus and back twice an hour. Please plan accordingly and review the attached shuttle schedule. If you are heading to K-Day today, there will be shuttle service beginning at 12:30. The shuttle stop will be located at the Rozsa Drop-Off zone and there will be numerous shuttles running back and forth to Chassell all day. Have a great K-Day and a great weekend!

Our office will be closed on Monday in observance of Labor Day and will re-open on Tuesday at 8:00am. This also includes no shuttle service on Monday.

This is a good time to let everyone know that the shuttles run Monday-Saturday. They do not run on Sunday, a University closed holiday, or a University closure.
