To Jim, (who I met on the Loop Trail this morning around 8 am), to others who inquired in the past month or so ~ we are very excited to share we now have them available.
As we make small batch crafted infusions, flavor varieties will evolve and change over time. We appreciate your interest, and look forward to hearing your feedback!
Hot and other infused honey blends pair well with charcuterie boards, teas, simple syrups (spicy margaritas), as a glaze for smoked meats, the possibilities are endless!
Coming soon to share: Wild Ember Reserve (elderberry, cinnamon, orange, ginger and a hint of habanero). Please feel free to reach out if you are interested to pre order. $12- $16 / 8 oz bottles pending flavor varieties.

Happy Friday! It is going to be a beautiful weekend ahead! Since I had the day off today, I was able to make some delicious honey treats to share last evening!
"Loop Trail Mix" energy balls, apple cinnamon honey muffins (with fresh grated honey crisp apples), and always a favorite- chocolate chip cookies. Take care!

We had such a great turnout last week at Stillwater Tuesdays we will be back again tomorrow! We would like to invite you to sample our "Switchel" tomorrow evening from 5 pm - 8:30 pm!
We will also have the bees on display since that was quite popular!
Small bottles available to purchase! It is going to be hot (87!) so come visit us and hydrate yourself!
We will also have our honey available as well! Looking forward to sharing with you!

We have been enjoying this past week, as 2 of our sons and their wives were in town visiting! Zack and Megan from the USVI, (far left in photo), and Nichols and Natia (far right) from Oregon! Each of our kids have used their creative gifts and talents to touch on our small business over the years. From Nichols, who became a self taught beekeeper at the age of 12, to Zack, who created the logo and often shares his knowledge of marketing and branding, to Brett, our youngest (middle) who plays a role capturing the beauty of our bees through his amazing talent with photography. We thank you for your interest in our small business!

Last night we were able to take part in Stillwater Tuesdays, and we met so many amazing people. We look forward to meeting many more as time goes on, and sharing our sweet gifts!

Since I had the day off today, it was a great rainy day to bake and create tasty treats made with our honey. This weekend at the Loop Trail stand (next to former Houlton elementary school) I will have chocolate chip cookies, cranberry orange zest cookies with walnuts and a citrus glaze, honey caramel popcorn (with pretzels and peanuts), and cardamom~ honey~ and date energy balls from 8 am - 7 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Available until sold out.
We will have our usual variety infused and regular honey as well. Take care ~ enjoy the weekend ahead!

Sunday Switchel!

Long before there was Gatorade, there was Switchel.
What is Switchel?
"Switchel is a traditional, sweet-and-tangy non-alcoholic drink made with water, apple cider vinegar, ginger, and a sweetener like molasses, honey, or maple syrup. Also known as "haymaker's punch," it served as an energizing, refreshing beverage for farmers during hot summer harvests long before modern sports drinks existed". (Google)

In honor of our Houlton heritage, we will be offering crafted - small batch Switchel, using our Houlton Hives Honey. I've been making it for years and sharing with coworkers and friends, and I am now excited to share with you! Our version is a fresh and quenching blend of honey, ginger, lemon, apple cider vinegar and cinnamon.

Made fresh today, excited to share tomorrow!

It will be available at our Loop trail stand next to the elementary school in Houlton at 8 AM. Available until sold out.

Price: $6 per 12 oz bottle.
64 oz glass growlers can be pre ordered for $30 with a few days notice.

We appreciate your interest and business, especially in the last few months with our new honey hut stands.
Because of you, we are almost out of our 2025 season honey. We will be extracting in the next week, so we wanted to share this, as our honey hives (home site on Thelen Farm trail and the Stillwater loop trail location) will be empty. We may have some hot honey still available. On weekends, on the Loop trail, we still plan to share honey baked goods. Stay tuned ~ we will update as we have honey available. Thank you again so much!
