A little late on posting this but Dr. Powers passed May 20th. Those of us who took a class from him know how hilarious he was and how great his classes were. He was unique in how he taught and just an all around great guy.

Professors, Members and Alumni,

Turkey, the home country of our beloved Professor Cengiz Sisman, has suffered a massive tragedy. Just over a week ago, Turkey and Syria experienced a massive earthquake that has left tens of thousands dead and even more displaced. Professor Sisman and his fellow Turkish-Americans have set up this fundraiser and we would be incredibly grateful if you would kindly make a donation of any amount to help rebuild the lives of those impacted by this tragedy.

It is my honor to welcome everyone to the 2022-2023 school year. My name is Tim Brown and I have the honor of serving as President for the 2022-2023 year. If my name sounds familiar, it’s because I had the privilege of serving as President for 2018-2019 and VP for the 2019-2020 school years. As I make my return to begin my journey through grad school, I was approached by my current VP Christen Reddam Symmons with an opportunity to once again lead this amazing organization and I couldn’t say no.
