of Philosophy in Urban Planning and Environmental Policy are offered. Also, two online Executive Master’s program in Administration of Justice (eMAJ) and Public Administration (eMPA) are offered by the School.

The Barbara Jordan–Mickey Leland School of Public Affairs extends its heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of Mr. Reginald T. Starks, an Emergency Management and Homeland Security major and proud member of the Texas Southern University Ocean of Soul Band, who passed away on June 7, 2026.

A rising trombonist, originally from Jonesboro, Georgia, Mr. Starks joined the TSU family in Fall 2025. His presence will be deeply missed by our campus community.

Services for Mr. Starks were held this past weekend on June 20, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia.
