Is a Dental Assistant certificate worth it? 🦷

It could be, especially if you like the idea of a role where no two parts of the day look exactly the same.

You might be assisting chairside, preparing treatment rooms, working with patients, updating records, or keeping the front office moving.

Dental assistants may also work in settings beyond a traditional dental office, and additional certifications or continued education can open up more ways to build on your training over time.

Hands-on learning and teamwork in action!

CHCP Surgical Technology students recently had the opportunity to strengthen their skills through hands-on practice and peer-to-peer learning. Students from Cohort 1 stepped up to help Cohort 5 practice proper sterile gowning and gloving techniques, sharing what they’ve learned with the newest cohort.

Meet Monica, a proud CHCP alum who just defined what it means to be unstoppable. As a single mom of 4, she worked two jobs and trained as a competitive boxer all while maintaining straight A's in our Medical Assistant program.​

Today, she’s officially working in the field as a CMA and planning her next steps toward becoming an RN.​
