Faculty: Abdominal, Small Parts; Lectures/Lab
:QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: Seven + years experience in a fast paced Sonography department.
Previous teaching experience preferred
Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree
Credential: Registered ARDMS abdominal or ARRT(s) Sonography
Must be able to develop and present lectures within the Curriculum and Syllabi.
DUTIES:
Teaches assigned didactic, laboratory, and clinical courses according to the learning objectives for each course
Utilizes a variety of instructional strategies to engage students
Maintains open communication with the DMS Program Director and other College personnel regarding curriculum development, student progress, and learning outcomes
Evaluates and documents student performance promptly and accurately based upon course/DMS rubrics and College requirements
Communicates in a timely manner with students
Identifies at risk students and provides action plan to assist in the success of student
Participates in faculty and other college meetings
Maintains student records regarding student attendance, involvement and progress while maintaining the confidentiality of each student
Evaluate students academic progress
Periodically evaluate assigned courses and considers student feedback from surveys to provide continuous improvement to courses
Ensures a safe classrooms and DMS laboratory and equipment are maintained and presentable for student use
