How can artificial intelligence help researchers evaluate the quality of real-world healthcare evidence?

UHCOP Ph.D. candidate Chijioke M. Okeke is helping answer that question through award-winning research examining how well large language models can identify potential bias in real-world evidence studies. Okeke recently received a $5,000 PhRMA Foundation Trainee Challenge Award for the study, which compared the performance of 40 AI models with assessments conducted by trained human reviewers.

Congratulations to Okeke on this recognition and his work exploring new ways AI can support rigorous, evidence-based healthcare research!
