For your consideration.

Many of you have reached out asking how you can support the family of the TACP Airman we lost in last night’s tragedy at the Alamodome. At the family's request the name of service member is being withheld.

In response to that outpouring of support, the TACP Foundation has established this fundraiser. The family has not requested donations; this is our community’s effort to offer support during an unimaginably difficult time. All net proceeds will go directly to the family to help with expenses and the months ahead.

If you are able, please consider giving. Sharing the campaign is another meaningful way to help. Above all, please keep his family, loved ones, and teammates in your prayers and respect their privacy as they grieve.

Thank you for showing up for one of our own and for the people he leaves behind.

Drink water too!

I know you know… but it needs to be said again.

Don’t underestimate how much water you’ll need while tailgating. Between the Texas heat, being outside for hours, and enjoying the festivities, it’s easy to get dehydrated.

Bring plenty of water, drink it throughout the day, and don’t wait until you’re thirsty!

🏈 UTSA GAME DAY TIPS FOR THE ALAMODOME 🧡💙

Heading to a UTSA football game? Here are a few quick tips to help your game day go smoother, stay comfortable, and have more fun!

🔹 Arrive early.
Doors typically open about 1½ hours before kickoff, so give yourself plenty of time to park, walk to the Dome, and get through security.

🔹 Be ready for security.
Everyone will go through security and metal detectors when entering the Alamodome.

🔹 Know the bag rules.
The Alamodome has a clear bag policy, so check the requirements before you pack.

🔹 Check your entrance.
There are several entrances around the Alamodome. Your ticket may indicate the best entrance to use for your seats.

🔹 Download your tickets ahead of time.
Save your tickets to your phone’s wallet before you arrive. It’s much easier than trying to pull them up while standing in line at the gate.

🔹 Stay comfortable.
The Alamodome has great A/C and can get surprisingly chilly inside, especially if you’ve been outside tailgating. A dry shirt or light jacket can make a big difference.

🔹 Protect little ears. 👂
It can get LOUD inside the Alamodome! Consider bringing hearing protection for babies and young kids.

UTSA usually posts a game-specific guide on GoUTSA with information about parking, entrances, tailgating, promotions, Rowdy Town, and more. I’ll post it here if I see it.

UTSA Football Parking Info 🏈

Heading to the Alamodome for a UTSA football game? Here’s a quick parking rundown to help you plan ahead:

• Alamodome lots: You’ll need a parking pass to park in the Alamodome lots. These are generally available to season ticket holders, but you may also find passes being resold by others.

• Lot opening time: Alamodome lots typically open 6.5 hours before kickoff for fans with valid parking passes.

• Nearby private lots: Privately owned lots around the Alamodome are another option. Prices usually vary based on how close the lot is to the Dome.

• VIA Park & Ride: VIA may offer Park & Ride or express-service options for UTSA home games, so check current VIA game-day service before heading out.
