As you hear in Alejandra’s story, scholarship support has allowed her to focus on her education, fully embrace campus life, and ease a financial burden for her family. But she’s not alone. Every scholarship recipient has a story of opportunity made possible by generous supporters.

While Two Saints and a Taco Tasting is a night of great food and tradition, its true purpose is creating life-changing opportunities for students like her.

Together, we’re changing lives, one taco at a time. 🌮❤️

Today, on the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, we remember Barbara Olson '78. Barbara was aboard American Airlines Flight 77 when it was hijacked and flown into the Pentagon. She was one of only two people known to have successfully reached someone on the ground from the flight, placing two calls to her husband and demonstrating remarkable courage in the face of unimaginable circumstances. We honor her memory and all those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

We invite our students, alumni, parents, and friends to wear their red pin or favorite UST gear to proudly represent Houston's only Catholic university.

Can't make it to Mass that weekend? You can still make your gift online at https://archgh.org/second-collections and selecting "I want to support Catholic University of America/UST Collection."
