The significance of last night’s Arabia Shriners stated meeting cannot be overstated! What an evening of fellowship, generosity, and anticipation for our future!
We enjoyed a wonderful meal provided by Amani Court No. 72 of the Ladies’ Oriental Shrine, led by Princess Mary Alice Owen. Thank you, ladies, for your hospitality!
It was also a pleasure to welcome Justin Duty, Deputy Grand Master of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Texas!
The Arabian Knights shared a great presentation on their recent barbecue cookoff, which raised an incredible $29,000 for Shriners Children’s Texas! We also celebrated hospital donations from the Montgomery County Shrine Club and the American Legion in Willis, including kickoff funds toward the 2027 Willis Chili Cookoff. Thank you to everyone helping make a difference for our children!
Then came a defining moment for Arabia’s future. Following updates from the Building Committee, the motion introduced at September’s stated meeting to sell our current location passed.
Our current home holds cherished memories, and we carry that legacy forward with great anticipation for what lies ahead. Together, we have the opportunity to shape an exciting new chapter for Arabia and its new home!
Our strength is our people, our purpose, and our commitment to one another. Let’s move forward together!
