The Marshall University School of Art & Design is hosting a 6-week Intro to Pottery workshop led by Courtney Chapman at the Art Warehouse ceramics studio. Link in the comments to sign up! ⬇️

May 20 - June 24, on Wednesday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., you'll learn to throw basic forms at the wheel and take home functional pieces you made yourself! Participants will be making bowls, mugs, cups, and more.

$225 registration fee includes everything you need: 50 lbs of clay, studio glazes, and all firings.

No experience in clay is necessary - just show up ready to learn!

Registration closes May 19 or when the class fills.

Today the Marshall University Foundation and Alumni Association will celebrate the achievements of exceptional alumni, university supporters and students at the 87th Annual Alumni Awards Banquet, including 2014 Marshall University College of Arts & Media graduates, Craig Burletic and Rodney Elkins!

Aside from their solo work as professional musicians, Craig and Rod have been playing music together for over a decade. You may have seen them on stage locally performing with Eldorodo at THE LOUD, or you may have been part of thousands inside sold-out arenas to see them on tour with Tyler Childers. Their acts and talent extend far beyond what we can list here, but we are endlessly proud of their successes—and those of all our alumni.
