Back-to-Back National Excellence 🏆🏆

WMUL has done it AGAIN!

Announced today: For the second consecutive year, Marshall University’s student radio station has won a National Edward R. Murrow Award—one of the most prestigious honors in American journalism.

This year, WMUL-FM is being recognized nationally for Excellence in Audio Newscast for Newscenter88 at 5 PM, 10-17-25.

The W. Page Pitt School of Journalism and Mass Communications is incredibly proud of every student who contributed to this achievement.

And special congratulations again to Dr. Charles G. Bailey, whose leadership, mentorship and commitment to student journalism continue to set the standard for excellence at WMUL-FM.
