“Hi y’all! My name is Ava, and I serve as Kappa Delta’s Vice President of Recruitment and Marketing! 💐

In my position, I have the pleasure of leading the recruitment process of potential new members into KD and overseeing all marketing efforts!

Growing up as a competitive athlete my whole life meant I was constantly surrounded by a supportive team of women. As this season of my life came to a close, I still needed this group of women who would be there for me. Despite this need for community, I was hesitant about joining a sorority because I believed them to be “silly”, but I was SO wrong. After going through recruitment, I was blessed to run home to a community of women to share laughs with, confide in, study with, and help shape me into the woman and leader I am today. It’s hard to believe I was once so hesitant about something that’s given me so much. 🤍

And now as I am working to plan the most rewarding recruitment this fall, I am still reminded why KD has always been my home- sisterhood. The constant support, encouragement, and confidence brought to me by Kappa Delta these past two years is indescribable, and I can’t wait for KD Member Class ‘26 to run home and experience the same!💚💚💚”
