HCTEA welding students along with Hutchinson High School art student, Kalea W., collaborated with the Hutchinson Zoo to create these fantastic lighted animals. They can be found at the zoo as part of the Nights Before Christmas event.

We celebrated 23 students earning their Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification this semester in a Pinning Ceremony. Congratulations to an outstanding class for your hard work and dedication! Child development classes took a fieldtrip to local fire station #1 to learn more about the first Safe Haven Baby Box in the state of Kansas. Students were welcomed by Fire Chief Steven Beer and other on call firefighters. Students have a new understanding of how the box works and where the idea originated.
