The Hyattsville/Landover (MD) Alumni Chapter (E) is proud to support Old Bowie Arts on the Ave happening today, October 3, 2026, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Kappa Community Development Center (KCDC) in conjunction with the City of Bowie. Old Bowie Arts on the Ave is a community-centered event celebrating local creativity, arts, culture, and connection in the heart of Old Bowie. Designed to showcase the unique character and history of Old Bowie. This event brings together artists, small businesses, and neighbors for a celebration of creativity and community.

Residents and visitors will enjoy a day of local artisans, makers, food vendors, live entertainment, interactive arts activities, and family-friendly experiences along Chestnut Avenue. The wet weather has not dampened anyone's enthusiasm. We were pleased to host the Art of Tea by Holmes Hydration and Art of Bouquet Making by The Pink Orchid Workshops at 11:15 AM and 1:30 PM at the KCDC.

Despite the weather, a great time was had by all.
