Great article about how to start collecting art. You can get started this weekend at the IUP Art Sale! Friday and Saturday, Dec 8 & 9 from 10am til 4pm each day. Located at the Robertshaw Building (650 South 13th St) on IUP's campus.

You don’t have to be a millionaire to start collecting.

Artist Vanessa German will be at IUP tonight at 7pm in McVitty Auditorium. Her lecture is free and open to the public. Her exhibition, "Here Is For Dreaming," is on display in Kipp Gallery through March 9.

There is no fee and no jurying, all IUP art alumni are automatically in the show.

Work must be dropped off either Tues, Aug 2, or Wed, Aug 3 between the hours of 11 am and 4 pm at The Spinning Plate Gallery 5821 Baum Blvd, Pgh, 15206.

The gallery does not have pedestals, so artists showing sculptures requiring them must bring there own.

Unsold work must be picked up either Mon, Aug 29 , or Tues, Aug 30, from 11 am to 4 pm.
