KSU Electric Vehicle Team The Kennesaw State University Electric Vehicle Team is an organization that designs, builds, and races electric vehicles for competition.

EVT allows students to apply knowledge learned in the classroom to all aspects of the design and build processes of electric vehicles. There are two branches of EVT: The Formula SAE-Electric division and the EVGrand Prix Go-Kart division. These divisions are divided into smaller sub team

We are comprised of students from different majors such as: Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Graphic Arts, Marketing, Business, and many more! (including music performance majors … Yes, we actually have one of those!). Our team is also composed of a diverse set of individuals such as non-traditional students, incoming freshman, transfers, alumni, and conventional students and all from a diverse set of backgrounds. KSU EVT believes that through competition, innovation in electric vehicle technology can be achieved. This will be very important as the world moves toward a sustainable platform regarding energy and transportation.
